Sure there’s cake, cards, gifts, and friends, but let’s say that your mother’s or father's birthday is approaching, but it’s a big one like their 50th, or 60th.  Obviously you want to throw them a huge party, which will likely include dinner, but you’re feeling like something a little more is needed.  And guess what… we have some ideas! Go ahead and make reservations at her favorite restaurant and get all their friends together, and if you’re thinking a surprise party, arrange the ‘setup’.  Invite your mom or dad over, tell them that you’re going to them out for dinner, but of course, keep the part about their friends joining in, and the fact that there's going to be a limo escorting you all. On the special night, plan for your mom and dad to drive over to your place, and invite them in.  The limo can be hiding a couple streets over.  Have the chauffeur pull up when your mom or dad isn’t paying attention, and direct the birthday parent out front, and watch the big smile on their face when the chauffeur is there waiting with the door open.  For an extra nice touch, a red carpet and a bouquet of flowers can be added – it’s up to you.  The birthday parent will be thrilled either way, as they are whisked off in their limousine to the restaurant with you and the family. When you arrive at the restaurant, their friends will be there waiting to add an extra exclamation to the end of 'surprise' the birthday parent will really be surprised! Then it’s time for dinner, drinks, cake and the big celebration.  When the night is done, your limo will be waiting outside, waiting to take you, birthday parent, and the family home. Ask anyone you know what occasions they think of when they hear the word, 'limousine', or 'limo', and they will probably respond; wedding, prom, bachelor party, birthday party, or a night on the town.  Yes, those are all common uses for a limousine, but one use that is frequently overlooked, is that of corporate and executive travelers. Airport transfers, transportation to and from meetings, or maybe taking the office staff out for dinner after a particularly good week are just some uses that limousine services can be applied too. You have a business trip coming up.  You’re a frequent flyer and travel weekly. You know the routine. Plan ahead and get to the airport at the crack of dawn. Obviously, there are plenty of transportation choices when it comes to getting to DC area airports.  You could drive yourself, take a cab, take a bus, or use an amateur phone application car services, but is that really ideal? Why stress out even more about worrying about how to get to the airport. Driving yourself is the worst choice because you have to wait in traffic, then park in their over-priced parking lots (assuming the lots are not full when you get there).  Then during your entire your trip, you will probably be worrying is my car safe, is it still there, or will it be broken into? So you said, okay skip driving, lets take a cab? Sure, they’re everywhere, and in most cases will get you there.  But it’s a gamble, since you never know who will show up, what condition the vehicle is in, and whether or not they know where they’re going – will they take the fast way, or the long way? You also don't know how long you will be waiting for the taxi too. Then on your return trip, you will have to worry about the same issues getting back home. Driving, and Cabs are not an ideal choice, so we decide, what about the bus? Providing if the bus is on time, and you left early enough to try to make it, is it worth it after all those stops? You never know how much traffic will be, how many stops the bus will take, and that might delay you which will cause worry about you missing your flight. Also, is the bus a comfortable or relaxing experience? Do you really need to ask? So now you have your last option, the dreaded amateur phone-app car service? You will definitely get a ride, but who will show up? and when they do show up, will they know the Washington DC area enough to drive without staring at the GPS the entire time? They might be inexperienced driving in DC, and this will make you late. You might get lucky.  The price is cheap, but this is a big part of why it’s cheap.  You get what you pay for.  It’s not exactly the best way to eliminate stress, and there's no certainty who you're getting.
