Stop The Spread of Germs, Especially The Coronavirus!   There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, the CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:   Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.   Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.    If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.  For our chauffeured services, we will be doing a thorough cleaning of the vehicle's interior and exterior 'touch areas'. We will thoroughly focus on all areas where clients are most likely to touch. We have instructed all chauffeurs to seek medical attention immediately if they feel unwell, and we do not allow sick chauffeurs to report for work under any circumstances. We have removed all printed and reading material from the seat-back pockets, candy, mints, and water that is not individually packaged or sealed. We are limiting all physically sharing material between passenger and chauffers whenever possible. SuperShuttle, an airport ground transportation company that services airport transportation for individuals across the nation just announced, that it will stop servicing both International Dulles Airport and Ronald Reagan National Airport. The news comes after the announcement that the company has shut down operations entirely, at the end of this year, and going out of business at the end of the year. The news from this company is not surprising as last month the company had already announced, that they would stop serving Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Also, SuperShuttle the company, announced that their sibling sedan service, ExecuCar will also be ceasing operations on December 31st. Los Angeles International Airport was notified on Tuesday, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. Contacting SuperShuttle's representatives, we were told that people that had reservations after Dec. 31st would automatically receive refunds, but there isn't any detailed information anywhere on their website about that. This will leave many of their customers stranded in the dark wondering what will happen to their travel arrangements. Also, customers should ensure that their money has been refunded back from the company. Rumor stated that the company had lost business because of Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services around the area, but we believe that it was because of their poor customer service which got them to shut down. A current report on their Trip Advisor shows that out of 700 reviews, the company was only a two-star company. After 162 games in the regular season. After being down 19-31 in the regular season, they overcame adversity and began to fight. During the Playoffs, they faced elimination not only once, but five times. That is five chances their dreams could have been tarnished, fighting against three Cy Young Award Winners: Clayton Kershaw, Justin Verlander, and Zack Greinke. Facing five eliminations, coming from behind from when they were down, this team continued to fight. As they survived each elimination stage, ther dream continued to live on. Their fight song were exchanged with the 'Baby Shark' theme song. This woken up the energy behind the fan base, kept the team motivated, and the fans to keep the energy at an all time high. The team kept being motivated, facing five elimination games, facing three cy young winners, and using the tunes of a 'Baby Shark' to keep the spirits alive, kept them fighting. After going to the 7th game of the World Series, the team went down early on, but they continued to fight, and not only did they fight, but at the bottom of the 9th, after the 3rd out. The Washington Nationals not only won, but they won a war, and the fight was finished. Major League Baseball MLB Championship has come to an end, and the 2019 MLB World Series Champions are the Washington Nationals.   [caption id="attachment_1117" align="aligncenter" width="300"] The 2019 MLB World Series Champions, The Washington Nationals.[/caption]   The next thing on their agenda is the Washington Nationals victory parade. The Parade will begin on Constitution Avenue NW at 15th Street NW and will proceed east along Constitution Avenue NW and end on Pennsylvania Avenue NW at 3rd Street NW with a team rally. Fans attending the parade are encourage to: Text "NATS" to 888-777 to receive text alerts on safety, transit, and weather updates from the District about the parade. It will be hard to navigate around Washington D.C., and rideshare services will be surging all day. Metro will be overcrowded. You have a business trip coming up.  You’re a frequent flyer and travel weekly. You know the routine. Plan ahead and get to the airport at the crack of dawn. Obviously, there are plenty of transportation choices when it comes to getting to DC area airports.  You could drive yourself, take a cab, take a bus, or use an amateur phone application car services, but is that really ideal? Why stress out even more about worrying about how to get to the airport. Driving yourself is the worst choice because you have to wait in traffic, then park in their over-priced parking lots (assuming the lots are not full when you get there).  Then during your entire your trip, you will probably be worrying is my car safe, is it still there, or will it be broken into? So you said, okay skip driving, lets take a cab? Sure, they’re everywhere, and in most cases will get you there.  But it’s a gamble, since you never know who will show up, what condition the vehicle is in, and whether or not they know where they’re going – will they take the fast way, or the long way? You also don't know how long you will be waiting for the taxi too. Then on your return trip, you will have to worry about the same issues getting back home. Driving, and Cabs are not an ideal choice, so we decide, what about the bus? Providing if the bus is on time, and you left early enough to try to make it, is it worth it after all those stops? You never know how much traffic will be, how many stops the bus will take, and that might delay you which will cause worry about you missing your flight. Also, is the bus a comfortable or relaxing experience? Do you really need to ask? So now you have your last option, the dreaded amateur phone-app car service? You will definitely get a ride, but who will show up? and when they do show up, will they know the Washington DC area enough to drive without staring at the GPS the entire time? They might be inexperienced driving in DC, and this will make you late. You might get lucky.  The price is cheap, but this is a big part of why it’s cheap.  You get what you pay for.  It’s not exactly the best way to eliminate stress, and there's no certainty who you're getting.
